The Home Inspector
Let me introduce myself. My name is Craig Slabach, a native of Sarasota, and owner of Drafting Solutions, LLC, doing business as Snoopy Home Inspector.
Experience
My experience includes framing and trim carpentry in local residential construction for various local home builders; this includes roof construction. I have also worked in the permitting department of a national home builder, drawing and reviewing plans and collecting documents required for building permit. I have drawn plans involving architectural and structural aspects of homes. I can honestly say I know houses inside and out.
Green Training
I have received training at the Florida Solar Energy Center, which has served as the state's energy research institute since 1975, for the following:

Florida Green Home Designation Certification on behalf of the Florida Green Building Coalition.

HERS (Home Energy Rating System) provide a standardized evaluation of a home's energy efficiency and expected energy costs. I have been certified by the Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA) to perform such ratings, with the use of Energy Gauge software.

WaterSense Inspector training for new homes, designed to work with other green building programs, allows me to determine relative water efficiency in the home
